1. Who we are
CrewLaunchpad ("we", "us", "our") provides training, coaching and community tools for aspiring and current cabin crew, available at crewlaunchpad.com and through our iOS and Android apps. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, username, email, password hash, profile photo, airline, role, languages, interests, countries visited, Instagram handle (optional).
- Activity data: messages and posts you publish in Community, Layovers and Roster features, activities you create or join, reports you submit, coaching sessions you book.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe (web) or RevenueCat / Apple / Google (iOS and Android in-app purchases). We never see your card or banking details. We only receive a subscription status and a transaction reference.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, and basic usage logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the app, your account and the features you use.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To moderate the community, investigate reports, and keep the platform safe.
- To send transactional and account emails (sign-in, security, receipts, support replies). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis (EU / UK users)
We process your data on the basis of (a) the contract between you and us when you create an account, (b) our legitimate interest in securing and improving the service, (c) your consent where required, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us run the service: hosting and database (Lovable Cloud / Supabase), payments (Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google), email delivery (our managed email provider), and analytics or error tracking. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your profile and personal content within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep records (for example, tax records for paid subscriptions).
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from the Profile page in the app. EU, UK and similar residents also have the right to object, restrict processing and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
8. Children
CrewLaunchpad is intended for users aged 18 and over (the typical minimum age for cabin crew applications). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique, strong password.
